The Kansas Active Transportation Program works to provide a place where people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds have safe and convenient options to walk, bike, roll and use other modes for transportation and recreation. To work toward that goal, KDOT maintains the Kansas Active Transportation Plan, toolkits and resources to advance the needs of active transportation in local communities.
