The Highway Safety Improvement Program – Intersections is a federal-aid initiative aimed at reducing traffic fatalities and serious injuries on all public roads, including non-state-owned roads and roads on tribal land.

• Align with the State Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP)
• Correct or improve a hazardous road location or feature 
• Address a highway safety problem

• Maximum award is under $5 million
