Study Description

This project is a highway corridor study to evaluate the current and future needs of U.S. 69 in Crawford County. Stakeholder and public input, as well as traffic and safety data will be compiled and analyzed, with a goal of compiling a list of issues and opportunities for the highway. The study limits are from the intersection of U.S. 69 and K-103 in Cherokee County, extending approximately 18 miles to E 650th Avenue north of Arma in Crawford County.

PUBLIC INPUT OPPORTUNITIES ARE COMING SOON

KDOT plans to host several open houses in winter 2025, where the public can attend to review and provide feedback on potential design options for the U.S. 69 highway. The public will also be able to meet the study team, as well as learn about other projects that are being planned along the corridor. Details of the open house will be shared and posted to the website once scheduled.
