On Wednesday, July 31, the Kansas Department of Transportation will close the ramp from westbound K-254 that will shut down access to both southbound I-235 and southbound I-135.

The ramp closures are necessary for new sign footing installation. The work will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 31, after which the ramps will be reopened to motorists.

While installation occurs, traffic will be directed to northbound I-135 to the 53rd Street north exit to turn left and head southbound on I-135.
